Has anyone tried a power glyde? and if not why if you have the power why have the car shifting all the time. I am getting ready to pull out my t-350 and try one my car ways 3100 with out driver and has had the best time of 10.47 at 128 with 3 speed.

MAN!!!! I would really like to know this as well because my car leaves well (1.47 60') off the transbrake with a th350 and 3.25 gears but you literally have to shift from first to second as soon as it leaves. It is a hand full to let go of the trans brake, put both hands on the wheel then have to go back to the shifter for second gear while the car is still unsettled. It seams like with a glide in my car, it would be alot easier to drive at the track. Will a high 9 sec car(current best is 10.4) weighing rite at 3050 without driver have enough horsepower and be light enough for a glide to work.
