trans shifts at high rpms

trans shifts at high rpms when I drive around for awhile in town.. I have new fluid and filter in car . It does fine in morning when going to work,but if go in town where I set a while it does it. anyone had this to happen ? just got car put together 600 mile ago.

What is "high"? Is this normal driving or WOT?

normally when car is cool it changes about 1500 rpms when hot it is more loke 2800 orso I don't have rpm gauge..

it may be higher rpms than that . it is just a quess I just ut a trans cooler on car Im painting a car ow but lattr im going to drive it to see if it helped..

Drove car still does the same would there be a sensor that would cause it to do that after getting warm or hot????

would old rad be alittle stopped up or something???
