trans temp gauge

whre is the best place to add the sensor for a trans tem gauge i was thinking about tapping into the pan but if there is a easier or better way i would like to know

well if your not comfortable tapping a hole in the pan Autometer does sell a "manifold" that you insert on the steel line. It has a threaded port to add the trans temp sensor
