Trans to engine bolts

Getting ready to install my trans when I pulled the last one out I noticed the bolts were not factory. What length should my bolts be and do I need any lock washers to insure my trans will stay bolted tight to the engine?

Just replaced mine with bolts I got from Advance Auto Parts, Dorman #960215 3/8 x16 x1-1/2 these have a flange under the head, no lock washers needed. They come 2 to a package.
