trans wont hold boost at the track.

Hello guys, Well I was at the track an got to the burn out pit,went to power brake it an got 5lbs of boost an my trans acted like it feel out of gear,so now all I get is the feeling like it went in to gear but no go.So if I drop it down to 1st an shift it by hand it goes in all gears.till I come to a stop then I have to put back to first an start all over again,so my ? Is what went wrong.
