No, but I've had a few modules get flakey with the EST line. And a poor ground for the module will do it.

Mine was having a code 42 est error but it turned out to be the direct scan ribbon cable not being shielded now it is fine.

If not running direct scan then.
You could ohm out the wires and see if the resistance is off or not.

Unplug the timing wire going at the t+ then pull the plug off the coil plug at the mod / pack and ohm it out to the connection you unplugged at the t+ then unplug the ecm and ohm the t+ plug you unplugged to the est signal wire on the ecm plug.

This should all be done with the battery disconnected.

You should get very little resistance..001-003 ohms.

This will tell you if you have good connections and a solid wire.

Also if you ohm from those wires to ground you can see if it is shorting out and causing problems.

How did you attach The T+??Did you solder it or crimp it.

Are you getting a check engine light with the code??

I am having the same problem. I just gave up on it and use the jumper wire and run my old Lubrant chips. I have not had any check engine lights since.

I have checked all the wires and there all good
I have also checked the bypass wire from ign mod to ECM all fuses cam sensor and replaced crank sensor

I solder the EST and to and from the ECM/ign mod
Yes I did get a check engine light with that code

the car seem to run very very very lean my EGT was reading 14,500 @ 50 mph with no boost and the car had no power
her is the messed up part it would go away and run fine

after the 4th ign mod.
I now have a ign mod that will give me a spark but it is like the timing is off or misfiring it dosent make sense

can any one tell me what the ESC (Electronic Spark Control)
mod. does and is it part or all of my problem
this part is located next to the fuel pump realy and the map sensor

my next step is too replace the ECM

thanks for the help
