Looking at a used translator any diff. between 5.2 vs 6.2 ??

I had a 5.2 version on my GN to, it's just an older model translator, the new models are 6.2's. I called Mike at Full Throttle Speed and told him what I had and he sold me a chip for the translator to upgrade my 5.2 version to a 6.22 version. It's like 35.00 or something if you want to upgrade it.

What do you get for the $35.00 chip, any diff. in the way it works or runs?? or is it just to have the updated version. thanks S
