What size bolts do I need to bolt my 2004R bell housing to my '84 GN motor?

They are 3/8 - 16 NC bolts. I use them at 2" long w/ hard washers and lock washers.

Same question bu for an 87

Hi all, I was wondering the same thing, but for the 87 GN (not GNX). We tried some 3/8 bolt but some of the other bolts in there are metric, Anybody have the definitive size, pitch, length etc?
