Transmission return line?

Can anyone tell me witch trans line is the return line for the trans from the radiator, the upper or lower line? Im installing a trans cooler and would like to run the cooler after the radiator.

upper line at trans is trans fluid out , lower is return

at radiator upper is input , lower is return to trans
