First of all is there anything that would cause me to both slip on the first to second shift, and not lockup. These both seemed to start happening at the same time.

The fluid looks a little dark, but thats it. I readjusted the tv cable and no change. I have tried lifting up on the brake pedal and it didnt effect the lockup(had that problem before). My cable for winaldl got messed up, so I am going to have to repair it before I can check if the computer is commanding lockup. I plan to try grounding the lockup pin on the aldl manually if I can figure out which one it is on this car.

I plan to do some more diagnosing this weekend, but was wondering if there are any specifics I should look for.

Assuming that I end up having to rebuild my transmission, what do you guys think of this kit http://www.700r4l60e.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=45&cat=23&page=1 Dana at probuilt is really higly regarded in the f body world for the 700r4's and 4l60's. I figured I would check out his stuff for the 2004r. Is there any other stuff that I am going to need? If I have to rebuild it, I will be installing a stall at the same time.

Thanks

Ben

Well, I have done some more diagnosis. The Fuse that supplies power to the brake pedal for the tcc clutch was blown. I found that because I was getting an engine light for my wastegate solenoid, which according to alldata uses the same fuse as the tcc clutch. Well, I replaced that and it still doesnt work. I kind of wonder if the solenoid may be bad, and pulled to much amperage and blew the fuse? I dont think that this would fix all of my problem, but maybe preserve my transmission long enough to get it fixed. Does that sound feasable?
