I got an autometer trans temp gauge. I'm pretty sure I want to install it in the cooler line. Does anyone have any pics of how yours is hooked up? What adapter fittings did u use? I found 5/16 inverted flare to 1/4 npt male that I might be able to install a brass tee then adapt back to 5/16 flare. Otherwise I might just end up putting it in the pan. Any thoughts?

My VDO water temp gauge does double duty . Toggle switch for Water / trans temp.
Not to start a temp sender war . Lots of differing opinions on where to place the sender . Mine's on the cooler return . Easy to change if someone can convince me otherwise .
