Trick shift fluid. Use it or not?

I will be swapping the converter, installing a 10 vane pump and tranny cooler and noticed I have 12 new quarts of trick shift sitting here in my garage shelf. I know that they now make it in synthetic but wondered if I should just put this stuff in. Is it any good? I know I had it in my Turbo 350 tranny and it shifted as quick as my ole man hittin me with the belt. I loved it. Just curious if the results with this tranny could be the same.

Use it it will not hurt it at all, it will how ever make it shift firmer.
