I have tried to short the 2 aldl pins to lock the converter, and still no luck. From what I understand there is a switch by the brake pedal that is it the circuit. Question is where is it, what does it look like and how do I adjust it to make the converter lock. The Trans was redone by jimmys about a year ago and the converter was new at the time of rebuild.

Thanks for any help.

Pull the four-prong plug from the transmission, and with the key on (engine off), measure the voltage on terminal A of the vehicle harness. The terminals are labled on the connector but you need to look closely.

You should have 12 V. If you do not, you'll need to work backwards an investigate the brake switch. If you do have 12 V on terminal A, your problem may be in the transmission.

Take your multimeter and measure the resistance between terminals A & D on the transmission case connector. A healthy wiring harness/solenoid will show about 24-26 ohms resistance.

Let us know what you find.

Thanks for the reply meanbuicks. Well the good news is it turned out to be the switch by the brake pedal. I just adjusted the swich and got the 12 volts down at the trans plug. The terminals a&d ohmed out at 20. Now because I am running a DFI, I need to know which two aldl terminals to jump out. I have forgotten. Funny thing is I have never got to lock up the dam thing so im very interested in trying it out soon !!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
