Trunk adjusters

Need a pair of the rubber bumper adjusters for the trunk. Can't seem to find them!

I bought a pair from GM probably within the last year. They had to order them. I took just a few days to get them. GBodyparts would be another good place to check.th

Mine still won't stay adjusted. I have been meaning to check to see my car has a missing part/insert that they screw into. If anyone knows or has such a part, would appreciate hearing. Hth

Thanks! Searched GBodyparts website and could't find them. Hadn't even thought about the dealership though.

I have a spare deck lid at a buddies house. I'll call him tomorrow to see if it still has the bumpers in it. I'll let you know....

Thanks everyone, ended up searching Monte carlo trunk adjusters on ebay and found a new pair for $13 shipped.

T Spool, the decklid at your friends place, still have a decent trunk trim piece on it? Paint is no biggie, but I need one that is still straight, mine has a broken mounting point on it, so it's kind of warped at the end

Oops, sorry I forgot to get back to you! Did you already order the adjusters? I had my buddy pull them off, he said they look like new and is bringing them to work tomorrow. The deck lid I have has been barn stored since 1990 and the lower trim is like new as well. I really didn't want to seperate it from the deck lid though :frown: Let me know on the adjusters...I can ship them out tomorrow.
