I purchased one from the dealer for a new buick and it looks great on the car

This is the aftermarket one I have it's just not the same! The big thing is this one is black edge chrome top. Stock ones are all chrome.

Yes that's what I have chrome and black trim. When purchased I was told its the correct emblem...not so.

FWIW, lacquer thinner will take the black paint off without hurting the chrome. I did this on a factory hood emblem and mounted it on the trunk lid.

Hey I was looking around my boxes I found this one the only issues is the back tape doesn't want to come off clean! It's pulling some of the adhesive up. I'm pretty sure it could come off and just a little emblem adhesive could be put on the original adhesive to make it work. It's still never been used! $40 shipped if your interested!
