trying to get a NY Plate with a GN/TR on it

Hey all... I have received some info on getting a legit NY License Plate Similar to the ones that the chicagoland chapter gets every year.

It is not cheap to set up so i am trying to gather an idea if people in the NY area would get one. but it would be the price of any other plate about 35 a year (i think thats the going rate)

Interesting....hmm.

What do the plates actually look like? Is it basically NY's vanity plates like the sports teams, nascar, etc with a GN or TR idea in that spot?

I would like the idea of the power 6 on it, but arent there certain copyright restrictions with using things like that? I could definately see the power 6 in true colors on a plate though

What are the costs involved in something like this?

upfront cost is 5k to get a design put on a plate, that is why i was trying to get an idea of the desire to have one. cost to an average person is still the same as any other vanity plate, but the picture would be of whatever i get designed, however i wouldnt go ahead with it unless i knew there would be enough of an interest
