Trying to hook up my VDO fuel level gauge

I forgot which color wire near the fuse box I need to tap into for the signal for the fuel gauge. Anyone know it? I did it before with my last dash setup. Thanks!

I don't have my factory cluster in the car anymore, so I don't know which wires are what. I seem to remember hooking into either a brown wire or a tan wire??? Maybe I need to dig out the service manual?
