The tires came off a 1989 Turbo Trans Am that I owned. I removed the ORIGINAL Goodyear Gatorback VR50 tires with an amazing 5,800 ORIGINAL miles. The tires STILL held air and they had the "tits" on the outside edges of the tires.
These tires were pulled off and set aside because they were at the time, and still are UNAVAILABLE for purchase. These tires are perfect for anyone restoring an 80's era vehicle (ie; Corvette, Trans Am, Turbo Trans Am, Z28, IROC Z etc...) that these tires came on or just for originality.
The tires have slight cracks in between the treads on a couple tires but are NOT dry rotted by any means. They can be installed and driven if you choose to do so. Again, I had them taken off at 5,800 ORIGINAL miles off my (previously owned) 1989 Turbo Trans Am (sold with 5,966 original miles).
The tires will be banded with plastic shipping banding and wrapped in a plastic cellophane material (almost identical how Discount Tire or Tire Rack ships their tires). They will be shipped via UPS and buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. The tires can also be picked up. Shipping cost are roughly $25.00 a tire. I have the dimensions and weight already and with your zip I can give a more accurate figure to ship. However, from my past expirience in shipping tire and/or rims (depending on weight) the prices are in the $22 - $35 range. $35 are representive of rim/tire combos.
Drop me an email if interested. Pictures can be sent too.
