I have an Autometer boost gauge I'm trying to relocate, but I need to get more of the small diameter plastic tubing. I tried Lowe's, but they don't carry anything that small. Anyone know where to get it?

1/8" Hard nylon tubing, any place that sells gauges should carry it, even Pep Boys and any Speed Shop.

6 ft. lengths is standard, might need a coupler to add to an existing piece, may come with the kit, may not.

Otherwise use good vacuum hose and a fitting on the gauge itself NPT to barb for the size hose you use.

I went through the same runaround this spring. After visiting far too many parts stores, I finally found out that NAPA stores carry VDO gauges and parts (at least in Wisconsin), and they have a kit. It's VDO part 701 2109.
Happy to help.

Instrument shops/panel builders use 1/8" nylon tubing. I stopped by a shop years ago and they gave me a big spool of the stuff for free. It was in a big coil - there are no kinks like you get when folks try to shove 6' of it into a tiny package. That spool will last me my lifetime...

:)

I would also recommend using the tubing commenly used in air brakes. I think its usually black. Same size(1/8) and everything but it wont kink and much more durable then the white tubing autometer or some places sell.
