Ok. went to the track last night FINALLY with the new combo...happy but not as happy as i want to be.. track was shitty tho, spinning at the 60' mark, no track prep. also, took the brake out of the current trans for process of elimination, leaving off the foot brake. 1.6 short times.... picking up 24 mph on the back end.. just feel that my mph should be much higher... no knock, trying to read wideband, o2, etc etc...not easy....i started adding fuel, even tho my numbers looked good, and the car started to pick up even more. I'm wondering what's involved with a data logger, component and price wise... running stock ecm, tt chip. aem standalone wideband... 10 g's for a dfi is out of the question unless i buy a wood chipper and collect on some life insurance :)

powerlogger (appox 265) and a netbook (around 200) or any laptap with a usb and win 98 or better operatinng system
you can log everything the ecm sees and have 5 addition input channels to add wideband , add a 3bar map and you can log boost
and with the powerlogger you can have the scanmaster output at 5 frames per second and allow boost and afr through the scanmaster

Netbook...can I use a laptop?

that's weird. part of your original reply didn't show, but did when I qouted it. so, for the boost gauge, is there a transducer then, I ASSume that converts the pressure to a signal that ties into the logger? oh, nm, just reread. I have a 3bar map already for the alky kit. can I tie into that? and I'm pretty sure I saw something about another output with the instructions for my wideband?

yes just tie into the 3bar map from the alky and you can log up to approx 30 psi boost/ 30inhg vac

wideband should have a 0-5v analog output , that can be fed into the powerlogger
