turbo 400

i bought a car off a guy today, its a 73 nova with a caddy 500 bigblock, 400 turbo, 12 bolt opsi, not sure of the parts yet but i watched the car run 10:84 thats pretty fast for a big metal boat, with full interior!!! any way i got 2 motors trannys and rearends, just wondering if i would be better off putting one of the transmissions in my 85 t type or build the one i have in it

There is no good reason to replace a 2004R in a bone stock TR with a heavier, non-lock up, non-overdrive transmission. You'll lose performance and mileage.
