turbo advice please

SMy ta49 may be on its way out.....I will check it closer when I get home. The best way I can describe is I hear a scubbing sound near the turbo when the engine revs.I'm going to check shaft play tonite.
What's a good economical replacement that will fit under stock cover? I have;
Ptc l/u 10" 2700
60 inj
Dp,slic,stock engine

throw a 44/49 back on there.if your older version has the garrett .63 swap that onto the new one

I ran a 6.76@103 mph @ 20psi with it they are one fast turbo

I know that. but a few yrs ago i had the 6152e on a stock engine and it still was a pretty stout turbo.
