After replacing a head gasket on my 87 gn I want to make sure I have the right amount of boost. I've put in a new fuel pump, hot wire kit and stock chip and the only thing that I need is to make sure of the boost so I don't blow another head gasket. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Tommy

Test the stock type wastegate arm with regulated compressed air at 9-10 psi.

Arm should just start to move when you apply that pressure.

Should move more at 12-13 psi.

After that test adjust the arm so it's just on about 1/16" to 1/8" over the wastegate puck arm. Light tension.

Then check it on the street.

Obviously inspect the hoses for leaks and make sure the Y is correctly installed with a .050" orifice hole in it.

Assuming a stock type system.
