Has anyone re routed the turbo drain into the timing cover on the passenger side before. I have heard of people running the drain into the fuel pump delete plate, but my -10 cannot make it over that way and i want a straight shot downward.

I had problems previously with my -10 line going into the factory drainback area and i would like to had a more direct flow for oil leaving the turbo, and not much of an angle like i had before.

I was planning on taking the cover off, drilling a hole and either tapping the hole or welding in a -10AN fitting if the case is aluminum (i forget if it is or not).

any possible downsides to this idea? Has anyone else done this with success? Is there room.

I am nowhere near the car and it is an idea that sprung up on me.

Thanks guys

Adrian
