I need a new turbo gasket. Car is an 87 GN with stock turbo and downpipe. Anyone knwo where I can get a new gasket at?

I guess we should find out what gasket you're talking about, since the one that turbov6man is referencing doesn't exist on a stock setup.

Are you refering to the donut gasket between the turbo and the downpipe (the only gasket on the stock setup)?

If you're looking for a gasket between the turbo and header (the one referenced above, I would STRONGLY recommend NOT using on. It wasn't meant to be there, and I've seen the damage those gaskets can cause to both the turbo flange and the header flange (warpage).

Ditto that!

Check the surfaces and make sure they're both nice and flat, and if you really want to, use some Ultra Copper RTV to make sure you get a good seal.
 
I think I misspoke

ok...I'm still learning...and I haven't learned enough. It appears I meant between the header and the turbo.

So I really don't need that gasket there? I can just remove it, make sure it's flat, add some RTV, check for some exhaust leaks, and be done?
