Turbo Help

Hey guys i have a 85 Hot air with stock turbo and Its starting to make a winning nose and im not sure what the problem is. Also what would be a good replacment for cheap for it? can i go bigger with out a IC? Please help me out

The replacement turbo is a TA33C which I had rebuilt out of an 84/85 Garrett core. This turbo costs ~$930 by Limit Engineering in AZ. I also have a spare stock turbo rebuilt by Limit and as I recall it wasn't cheap either. Limit specializes in our turbos but it costs $$$. The TA33c flows twice the stock turbo at 700 CFM. If you spend the $$ you are getting a quality turbo. Brad
