Turbo help

My turbo went south, oil leaking from elbow n smoke out the tail pipes. So i have a buddy with a IC TR and he said would sell me the turbo .

will they bolt right up to the hot air's??? my bud has a T4 (i think to much power but IDK ) and the stock GN turbo with 50k on it. WILL IT WORK?? will i have to reclock it to work and or bolt up the H/A compressor housing?? IF anything, could i kept the IC turbo center, remove the housings and replace them with the H/A housings??

A turbo from an IC car will not bolt on. Suck it up and have your stocker rebuilt by either Precion or Limited. If you wallet is big enough upgrade to a TA33C(around $900). Good Luck- Brad

damn oh well haha gives me a reason to upgrade or just rebuld my spare haha doesn't matter. Thanks brad i heard JAYsGN parts or something like that does the TA49(or 44) upgrade is this true??

JAYSGN -TA49 for a Hot Air- It is a TA33C hoping to sucker someone like you in. Stay with Precision or Limit. I called Jays last year on this and they admitted it. Good Luck. Brad

What??thats not cool, thanks for the heads up. hmm i found this place, guy said they have our turbines n all that for our buicks. BlaastPerformance.com / Turbo Kits anyone heard of these guys , gpop shop charges 400 to were blastperformace is 150. To good to be true?? you know i never had problems with this turbo until i put a adj wastegate it worked for a few days but then this happened?? AGE of turbo or wastegate at fault?? boost was at stock level car felt really good 2, guessing wastegate worked better. any1 want an adj wastegate(dual port) how much do this go for?(hate to rip my thread uP)

David- Add the status of your car to your signature. This eliminates bad advice. Check mine out-everyone knows where my car is at.
The answer to your turbo question is simple-Precision Turbo or Limit Engineering. Forget the local guys or the do it yourself for your Turbo. Been there done it and I will never leave these two vendors. Good luck- Brad
