just got one, do I hook all these cables in series together? also the green light does not light up, I checked all the holes where the terminals go into the aldl and none of them have 12volts, one had 5. thanks,

All the cables were connected correctly in the package ... it should just plug into the car and the other end into the serial port. If they came apart, it's basically like the diagram in the HELP on the CD shows you or in crude ASCII art here (apologies in advance):

car --->ALDL ---> coiled cable --->module with green LED ---> serial cable ---> PC

If the green light isn't lighting, did you perform the cable test? Did you get green lights in the software?

Drop us some email at customersupport@acceleratetech.com and we walk thru the hook up with you. We also have a support forum at:

Thanks!

Did you get green lights in the software?
what u mean? did the cable test, green light flickered , laptop said check connections and make sure key is on, when I closed that screen, it said cable did not pass test.

When you do the cable test, it will automatically step through all available COM ports and pick the one that the cable is hooked up to.

Then it will send some test data to the cable and you will see the green or red "light", the square next to the slider come on to say the cable was detected. Then you will see it either light a red or light next to "Communicating with the ECM".

That tells you whether the cable is corrected properly or if it is seeing the ECM in the car.

If the green LED on the module is not lighting up, that indicates that the laptop has shut off power to the module. If that's the case, give us a call and we'll walk thru some troubleshooting for you ... it's usually something in the Windows settings or COM port. Ask for Jason...

It might be a bit tough to get ahold of us today ... we're getting HAMMERED by a big snowstorm. They are predicting "feet" of snow before it ends Wed night! The wind has picked up and it's really crappy out! :)

I ran the cable test, the green light lit up then went out, closed out that window and it said "your cable did not pass test, unable to establish connection".

Give us a call and let's walk thru this ... I'm confused as to which green light we're talking about.

Ask for Jason and he'll be able to walk thru things... thanks!

You probably will have to call day after tomorrow (3/20) ... we have 14" of snow on the ground and it's still snowing (supposed to get another 6-8"). I don't know if we can get into the office tomorrow.

Ken - i'm interested in buying a Turbolink.

Can't access your site (down?) by the link above in your post.

Can you shoot me an e-mail with the shipped price (USD) of one to Courtice, Ontario, Canada ? (postal code L1E 3E3) I'm farmilliar with it but maybe some details (selling points) for me as well ?

Whats the difference between V 4.0 and others ?

Try either of these (both go to the same place):

http://www.turbo-link.com
http://www.appauto.com

The PRODUCTS or ORDER section of the web site have retail pricing for the various upgrades and base products.

FOR A LIMITED TIME (until the end of the month!) we're running a special for GN/TType and TurboBuick.com members.

Enter GNTPR1QA (all caps) in the PROMO code box at the top of the ORDER page and you'll get discounted pricing on upgrades and new units.

Again, that's only until the end of the month ... or give us a shout at 970.226-3867 from 8:30-5:00 MST and we'll be glad to help!
