Turbo question

Am new to the world of turbocharged engines and I have a question. What are the pros and cons of running a wastegate solenoid versus straight hose from turbo to wastegate? I couldn't get the boost down low enough with my 85 so I ran a straight hose to it. Will it hurt anything? Bernie Steffen zstef@mchsi.com

sorry i cant answer your question, but I know you can ask John Craig at limit engineering for sure! He is the hot air turbo guru when it comes to upgrades and such, so i think he can be of assistance!

Hose

You will be fine.
It should have 10 psi with it ran like that.
