turbo rebuild question

I have a junk TA49 that the center section in needs to be replaced. Basically all that is good is the compressor and exhaust housing.

My question is.... can my decent stock tubo be rebuilt with the TA49 compressor and exhaust housing? Or are the center sections of east completely different?

Thanks in advance for what may be to some a stupid question.
