:confused: why dose everybody send out there turbo for rebuilding. is it that hard to ,do you need some kind of big money tools or work done. just asking i see alot of you guys realy know what you are doing ,why not do you'er omn turbos:confused:
 
The turbo spools at amazing RPMs. It should be balanced for proper function and reliability. You can mark it, but it's a gamble. Also, like any rotating shaft, sometimes it may need to be ground. Now you're talking .001 under size bearings. These are good reasons to send it out.
