Turbo screaming

Took intercooler piping and intake pipe off to replace water pump. After reassembling under boost it sounds like I have a dump pipe with the turbo screaming. I added huge air filter as well.

Should I be worried and prep New turbo?

What air filter was on there before? The longer bigger air filter make the turbo sound louder while under boost.

Had a spectre filter, went with largest k&n I could shoe horn in.

It pulls great, just worried the turbo prop was rubbing the housing.

I actually like the sound too, unless the turbo is on the way out, then I hate it!

I checked it while I had the intake pipe off, no play.

Just drive it

Check your couplers for tears or loose clamps.
