Could be 1 or more stuck injectors as well. Are they the original injectors? Get a hose, like 1/2" fuel line and listen while the engine is idling, right at the base of each injector. When i first got my car it barely ran. I listened around and heard a huge sucking sound coming from the base of one of my injectors. It had a huge vacuum leak that was causing alot of problems. The O-rings on the injectors were bad, not to mention they were just tired injectors. Dont just listen for vacuum leaks though. Also listen to the clicking sound each injector makes. Make sure they all sound the same. If they dont, you have a problem. Also, does your fuel pressure drop fast after shutting your motor off? Your fuel pressure should stay up there for awhile, like 45 min- an hour. If it drops fast, you have an injector stuck open, which would cause all the coughing of raw fuel.
