Another board member is selling a
PTE 63-1 about 1000 miles.wasn't smoking, no play,3 in inlet and 2 1/2 outlet, big shaft. Would i be able to put that turbo on my 84 gn. will it fit ? would I have to do any mods in order to have the turbo fit? Is it more turbo than I would need? As you guys already know from previous posts I am a newbie and my car will be a daily driver and will only see the track once or twice a month. Is there any other questions I should ask before I purchase it? I dont want to regret buying it if I dont really need it. Can someone give me some help and advice. Thanks in advance

make sure that the turbo is for the 84 85 cars. The 86 87 cars are different turbos. If you are going to get the turbo do yourself a favor and get the injectors and a chip burned for it. Also think about getting a better exhaust if you dont already have one. Bigger turbos are great if you have the right setup and tuning. Harry
