what would be the best turbo for the street ? red light to red light. what would i have to do to run that turbo

As you know my ta33 was nice but i think you might want to go with the ta49. There are some guys on here that have ran the 49 and have good things to say.

May be i'll just walk nextdoor and tell you this it would be easy that way.:D

peg leg:D

but what would i have to do to run that turbo and how much is it

your just mad cause i got i peg leg:D

You should not have to do to much, first things first fuel pump reg and hotwire. Scan tool dot be like me or if i get one soon you can use it. My self i would get rid of the stock old injectors and get some 40's or 009's . Anice little stall would help i think you might get some lag with the 49 and stock stall .

One wheel burner:D

I dont know if reds hot air still has his ta49 . He might have sold it or just keeping it. They must be good because he was running 120's mph with it. You might want to get a good trans before you go to big .

Hey if you're looking for street light to light racing, the stock turbo would be ample enough with your basic go fast mods such as cold air kit, injectors, fuel pump, chip, stuff like that. The stock turbo is good for spooling up quickly, and ive seen guys get into mid to low 13's with them. The track however is a different story, as they will tend to run out of steam with stock. But if its just light to light screwing around, you could prolly put the money you would have on a turbo to other things like exhaust, or downpipe. Just a thought!
