I'm having problems with my TurboXS HPDS 2 stage controller.
my setup is a 72mm, a 38mm Tial external gate with a 15psi spring in it.
My goals is to run 22psi in the 2nd stage, and as low of a psi in the first stage (race with meth vs. street no meth).
Each bleeder has 12 turns from lock to lock, instructions say 1 turn = 1 psi.
so in theory, if the 1st stage is set lowest, and 2nd stage set highest, there should be a 12psi differential pressure... in theory.
my controller for some reason has a 6psi differential pressure.
the last setup i ran, i had a 9psi spring in the WG, and i was able to run 11psi in stage 1, and 17psi in stage 2, both solid control.
so i raised the WG spring pressure to 15psi, and now the controller spikes to 23psi, and stays. it spikes to 23psi in both stages, with both bleeder knobs turned down. So i believe the 15psi spring is too much for my goal of 22psi.
i contacted TurboXS, and they cant give me any answers. They've given me the part description as an answer.
the ball/spring setup on the side also isnt making any difference, although it says its used for course boost control, its not making a difference.
any ideas, would be appreciated. This looks to be an awesome manual controller, but i just havent hit a good combo yet.
