turning alky off for street chip

on my razors kit all i do is turn the knob to off?

i dont have to mess with anythign else when i put my street chip in? just swap chips?

Not sure what you mean? Why turn alky off, just put the chip in and be done.

Why would you want to take out your alky chip and put in a street chip? You can just turn down your boost and still keep the alky on. You'll have it when you need it.

btw saw your other post about changing the oil. Since the Alky contol is progressive you'll only use alky if you go into boost (starts at about 8lbs) so if you just are starting a new engine it doesn't make any difference as long as you are using the same injectors that the chip was burned for. You'll probably have to have the chip reburned or you will have to adjust the fueling/timing anyway to match the new engine's performance potential.
