TV boost low to none

[77 cruiser]

Pressure falls slightly (maybe 15 lbs.) then rises slowly to about 100 lbs. with the TV cable pulled out all the way. I haven't pulled the pan yet but I was going to check the boost valve first.

Anybody experience this symptom before?
