Is it a BR valve body? Check to see if the 2-3 shift valve #344 in above picture has a 21 on the end of it. What are the weights in grams of each weight on the governor? Do you have a shift kit installed ? What torque converter is installed?I have the proper governor for the system and the valve body has purple on the side. I am wondering why the 1-2 shift happens to soon at max throttle.
When I am off of it and driving normal shifts good as soon as I step on it shifts too soon and can not even build up power to chirp the tires.?

Not a problem, post up when you get the info. The side is painted purple the governer is the correct one small and large weight, d5 converter. I put a shift kit in it to try and fix the fast 1-2 shift to no avail. I put it all back in the car when i weld the bung in the pan when it gets here from summit i will check and see if it has a 21 on the valve.
Thanks for helping me out.
