twin alky pumps

Brain storming.. has anyone thought of using 2 shurflo pumps in a parallel fashion as a fail safe?

or any kind of system with 2 pumps at all?

If anything would fail it would be the solenoid you use, before the pump would. These pumps are a non issue with reliability.
