Good morning. You could, if you wished, use a stock engine. Obviously heads/cam/intake offer better breathing and better power. As we've mentioned on other threads, we do suggest a girdle on engines making over 500 hp. Since our kit is capable of 800 hp, we suggest a girdle. Our engine has a stock block/crank/rods combination. At the time of Dyno and track, we had an ESP Roller cam kit, ESP iron CNC ported heads, matched intake, and 70 mm T-Body. We used JE pistons, ARP hardware, and our ESP Engine Girdle. I believe the rest is misc. We also have a similar engine/car here, with a smaller cam than ours, that is also having the ESP Twin Turbo kit installed. Here is looking for more than 800 hp and has plans for a larger engine over the winter.
