Twin Turbo GTO

I met a guy at a car show tonight with a twin turbocharged GTO that looks completely stock.....it even looks like the stcok air box was in place. WE had a very long chat, really nice guy, he has owner both a GN and a TTA in the past. He said the car has made 700hp to the wheels on the dyno and uses methanol injection. He is afraid to use anything but regular tires because he thinks the rear is a weak spot, but that from a 50 mph roll the car is really fast. It is a stick and he said he does have a problem keeping it spooled as he shifts through the gears. I have never been a big fan of the GTO and how it looks, but man, what a sleeper that thing is....I would never have suspected it was anything but stock, even with the hood open without looking REALLY closely.

Sounds Cool. I was gonna ask if you got pics..but I guess it doesn't matter if it looks stock.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of them either, but I've seen a few that impressed me. They can be made to look a bit more aggressive with the aftermarket hoods etc, but stock they look pretty boring.

I wish they all looked as nice as this concept...

My buddy has an 04 408" LS1 GTO. He just added a twin turbo kit. The turbos are down below and you can't see them. The car made 450HP at the wheels on motor. He has not dynoed the car with the turbos yet. Should be strong though.
