Just got back from the autozoned-out store looking to get a Brute-force u-joint, no problem, inside or outside clips sir?? HUH? inside clips of course!!
I get home and see a groove on inside cap toward c/l , well this isn't going to do so back to swap out for outside clips. Now I get it. Dia is only going to be a .060 press fit. RIGHT! Ran down to pep-boys and asked for same thing,Brute force u-joint outside clip. same size??? That's one of them RACE cars. DEALER ONLY part.
I know nothing has been changed, I was never that drunk?

I do think that the inside clip ones were closer to the correct dia. just by holding it up while contemplating inside or outside. Could this be?
