SignUp Now!its out of 89 Regal, the cloth is the same, and its not even the whole console ....its only the lid ...lolIs that something you made or did you get it from another car? if so, what car?
all this crap cost me a headgasket and headaches...i'll probabley redo it next year;VERY nice. Ever thought about switching over to the Dakota digital? I love mine.
Nice looking! But the only problem I see is, It won't open having it like that!its cheap and serves its purpose. matches the interior....could look better if it was as wide as factory top. held down by double sided tape:biggrin:

Very nice job. Looks stock. Hat's off to you.
I'm currently building an armrest for my '87 GN, but using the foldable armrest out of a '99 Park Avenue. I'm using the whole assembly. I'm designing a bracket system for it to be held in place by the seat belt bolts so I can fold the arm up out of the way when I need to open the console lid. This armrest top opens to put change in, CDs, tapes, and has a fold out twin cup holder. So far, so good. I'm cutting out the bracket system out of .0967 aluminum after I finish with the cardboard mock-up. I'll post pictures when I finish, and I think it'll really be cool. One member on this board gave me this idea as he has the same armrest, but it's velcroed to the console lid. I want to solve this problem by making it folding up like it does in stock Buicks. It sits between the console just at the right height. I agree, GM should have made some type of armrest that goes here, my arm gets tired of just flopping around since it's an automatic, no need arm to shift.
Anyway, real nice job there. Looks great and stock.
