Details on the car here:

That does appear to be all TITANIUM piping

Turbos seem kinda low, like below the oil pan. Wouldn't that cause problems with the oiling system for the turbos? Drainback and such? Amazing looking car though. Look like a 300zx motor?

Adam

its a infinity q45 V8.

and i can tell you, my dad has a Q45.
that v8 alone would make that light little z run 12s.

270 HP (in my dads 97)

the new q45s make 345 HP and run low 14s stock

work of art.. Did he weld ALL those small pieces of inlet pipe to produce those bends?? wow..

Wow!

All of those welds look like a leak waiting to happen.

I realize that you should provide a smooth radius for efficient flow but that is unreal........and then mirror-image the other bank too!

No Way

I agree with HYBRIDT, you can see the drain pipes going UP into the oil pan. It should be interesting to see what happens after 15 minutes of driving.

thats what i noticed. you talk about some serious amount of time. it really does look like its titanium. i've never welded any but i've heard its very touchy stuff to work with. very very nicely done.

the oil should be ok as long as the seals are good though right? if there is enough pressure to push the oil in, it shoudl also push it back out of the turbo right?

with the extreme attention to detail i'm seeing, i doubt that they looked past any big issues like how the oil will flow..

Looks like 2 independent turbo systems,,how does he make sure that each is eqaul to the other,,like say he sets one side to 15psi,,what is to say the other side is making 18psi:confused:

Very slick. I always liked the Z cars of those years. With that modern update it was scream.

All of the seams showing on the welds are done like that on purpose.

Japanese shops call it " Tuner " style, I think, but I am with you, that is a lot of work.

Sweet car though, I would drive it.
