up pipe? i dunno... 2" probably, never measured it

downpipe... 2.5"

both ATR pieces, and no, no flange. it comes extra long.. the pipe uncut ends like, under the passenger seat, almost to the backseat footwell, it was pretty long.

up pipe was $89, downpipe was $139

sanded it down with some sandpaper we had lying around.. i think it was like.. 400 grit wet? then used mothers metal polish...

mirror finish, it turned kinda brown but its still shiny, i need to redo it because i didnt clean it very well a few times and the grease from your hands burns off and leaves marks that must be polished off.

Down pipe

So the down pipe replaces the Catalytic converter also and just hooks up to the exhaust pipes? Does it use the normal rectangular four bolt flange and Y off into two pipes?
How do you attach links to your pictures? The reason I ask is because I just finished ceramic coating my modified hot air intake manifold and wanted to show you guys. The system will use 87 intercooler, throttle body and part of a plenum.

AWESOME!!!! I hope my motor comes out clean and sweet like yours!!! Turbo6x2 sent me some very very nice motor shots of her car, and damn, is her car clean!!! Good luck, and get some 1/4 mile slips for us to drool over!

well, the downpipe is long enough so that you can choose what you wish to do with it.

there is no flange, it just ends.

in my case, i dont have to worry about emissions ;) so when i put it on the first time, i just put a 2.5" turn down on the end and angled it out from underneath the car... i left it like that for about a year then i decided i was tired of open exhaust and wanted some more pipe...

i went to summit and ordered a 3" cutout and 3" catco converter and cut off the extra length of pipe. then i had an exhaust shop fab me up a 3" single exhaust all the wya back (no muffler)

but i never keep the cutout plate closed, i wish i didnt even waste the money on the exhaust system, its just added weight and pointless since i never close the cutout anyway.

and to link pictures you need to have your pictures hosted on a server...

Anyone know if there is any type of paint that will stick to the exhaust elbow????
