Cool Man,

Yea i know what ya mean about Nats. Phart can city. Young people in the South really look down on American cars sothats what you see there. I have a white 71 GTO convertible that I went some in last summer and before.
Good luck with your Buick, I just r/r my engine and dont like a sound in bottom end but will drive anyway. Damn machine shop!
Dont use Precision Machine in North Bham. They gave me loose tolerances in bottom end.
I make the Trussvill e cruise in some. Ill be in my gn if it stays together, and if it wont idle smoke-Im on 3rd turbo in 6000 miles.

If you need someone reliable to work on your car, call Fairfield Car Clinic and ask for Larry. He has built some of the TR heavy hitters cars. Actually he has slayed some 5.6/ 6.0 sec 1/8 mile Lassiter Mountain Pro Bracket cars on the street with his street TR. Precision Machine in North Bham, builds chevy's not Buicks. Not to many people in Birmingham know how tight the tolerances are on a Buick. If Larry is too busy, try Reed at Turbo Specialty's (www.turborepair.com) in Pelham. Reed and Scott (Narrow Ass Racing) have built some CLEAN cars. Reed has a HOT:cool: 87 that appeared in GM High Performance and Scott had a 85 "Refrigerator White T Type that was a killer (Lee Thompson influenced) :D . Scott now has a 87 that is SUPER NICE  I am sure we will run into each other... My Logo is UNERCOVER TURBO BROTHER RACING.

BTW: My Sleep Apnea is also winning:p, too much time thinking about my T Type aka "THE OTHER WOMAN  "

Yea Chuck,
Your right , Precision is a chevy place. I emphasized tight clearances and they gave 2.25 on the rods. I went ahead and put motor together and now regret it. I have the slightest rod sound which all but dissappears upon warm up. Can hear it when just cranked cold for a second or two. And 13 psi hot/idle oil press. Thanks for recommendations-Ive heard of Reed And Scott.
