go slow

To go fast, you got to start slow...You need to get that car totally monitored so that you can tune it to the max, then you can modify. You will need a good Oil Pressure guage, Boost guage, Tach, Water Temp guage, and some form of monitoring tool. Lots of people have a scanmaster, or an otc 2000. The best monitoring tool is the laptop based turbolink. All you need is a laptop and the turbolink kit, and you can see evey important function and code your car spits out at you.
When you are done getting the monitoring stuff, then you tune your car to perfection. Thats when the fun begins.
There are a few RECIPES on www.GNTTYPE.org under technical articles. They are a good reference guide on where to look for parts and ideas.
I think after you got your car tuned well, the exhaust should be the first thing. Get a nice set of headers (Poston on mine), and get a good sized downpipe 2 1/2 inch or 3", and get the catback replaced with a better set of pipes. Borla makes a good turbo buick set-up, mandrel bent, and ATR stainless seems to be very popular. Your budget will decide what you get. ATR is kinda pricey. After the exhaust, the fuel system must be torn out and replaced. A walbro 340 in tank pump and hotwire kit is very common replacement, and a new adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator from many vendors is a definate must have. You should also get a Fuel pressure guage on the rail. I got pics if you want to see them. After those couple mods, decide how fast you want to go, and the bill ($$$) goes up! You can upgrade the turbo, injectors, computer and chip, trans kits and converters, and the list goes on...

Get those few things taken care of, and then you can see what you want to do. Save up too, in the long run, the faster you want to go, the more it's gonna cost you.

See my incomplete mods so far for my buick in my signature.

Dude! The list never ends! I could easily spend another 7-8k on mine.
If you want some quick cheap power. Put some 110 octane in the tank. Get a boost gauge and a fuel pump and crank up the boost to 20 or more psi. WARNING! Once you do this you will never want to put the cheap gas back in it. This is when the spending begins and the quest for more power. My quest shooting for 700 hp and high 10's.
