I just purchased an 7th injector from this board, but it wasnt one that i have seen before in that the injector goes before the throttlebody. Are these as efficient as reds 7th injector or are the not as good. I think they are from Quad-Air inc from what i can make out from the laughable instructions any info on these would be appreciated.

Reds(aka Quad Air) units had a small control box(pack of cigs size), injector in the up pipe setup, and lights for shift and injector on. Can't help with directions as I sold mine a long time ago when I went to larger injectors.

7th injectors were invented to fill the holes in injector sizes that were available several years ago....sort of a bandaid....no reason to use a 7th now as a wide range of injectors and chips to handle them is available

I guess if you were on the ragged edge and didn't want to upgrade, a 7th would be an option (provided your chip can handle it)

Ok i understand it was used as sort of stop-gap or band aid, but wouldnt you be able to run more fuel if you added another extra injector to your larger one's let's say like making them all 55 lb's

sure, but instead of doing that, just get 6 72's or whatever...better fuel distribution and easier to program a chip...if you had to buy a new 7th, instead up just upgrading from, say, 36 to 50, you would soon see the wisdom of upgrading the injectors (the 7th costs as much as the upgrade)
