user CP help needed please..no emails sent

Anybody else not getting subscription emails?
About two months for me now....

When I try to access my email and password settings....I get "invalid birthday" message.

I did ask to have my birth year removed about two months ago, as I think it should be optional.

Did this somehow throw a monkey wrench in the email systems gears?


When I tried to erase my birthdate months ago...it would not let me!

So I started a thread about it.....let me find it here, one sec.

Well, I just recieved my first email in three months!

I tried to get this fixed on my own, because Jay and Shane kept telling me everything looked good on thier end.......NOT.

I yelled and screamed at the Comcast customer service people in India for hours and hours, trying to figure out why I was not getting emails from here, but I get them from everywhere else on the Inet (almost)?? Tried this and that, resetting, etc.

Thanks for the upgrade!! It works!!!

Now can you please try to fix my Emails from T6p....and don't try to tell me it's my fault. :tongue: , or my ISP, or ??

Maybe the server just doesnt like you then. Dunno what to tell you. This is the same version of software we're running on T6P.

It's working for me on both T6P and TB. So I hate to say this, it must be on your end.

Dont despair.. I'll be moving T6P to this server soon so if its a server side issue with T6P, it should be fixed.

T6P uses a different email setup than TB does, though. TB uses sendmail, T6P uses an SMTP remailer. Most of the problems everyone else was having on T6P went away when I switched it to an SMTP setup.
